Care that starts by listening.

Dr. Lam Nguyen graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2004 and has served San Jose patients for more than two decades. He founded VAL Chiropractic in 2010 to provide straightforward, individualized care for people recovering from injuries, managing persistent pain, or trying to move and perform better.

His work focuses on identifying the joint, soft-tissue, posture and movement factors that may be contributing to a problem. Recommendations are based on the examination, the patient’s goals and whether chiropractic care is appropriate.

“Pain is a signal, not a sentence.”

The goal is to relieve pain, help patients understand why it happened and give them practical tools to help keep it from returning.

Strength second.

Restricted movement can lead the body to compensate. Dr. Nguyen first works to improve comfortable, functional mobility, then builds the strength and stability needed to support that movement.
